Who is Krishna and Who is Arjun?

Who is Krishna and Who is Arjun?
I wanted to read Geeta and whenever I picked it for reading, after few pages I used to get bored by boasting of Krishna who is saying again and again with pride that I am every thing. At that time used to consider Krishna as one of the human being but having qualities like God. Since birth I am Jain and Jainism do not believe that any God is sitting upstairs in form of human being and controlling every thing.

Then one day I asked my Guruji Shri Aditya Tripathi that what is the meaning of word Krishna and what is the meaning of word Arjun. He said the meaning of word Krishna is power which can attract (आकर्षण) any atom (अणु) living being or non living things, towards him. A centralised gravitational force (गुरुत्वाकर्षण शक्ति). As per my little bit knowledge about universe, I could understand that we are on earth because of gravitational force. Earth is rotating sun because of gravitational force. Sun is rotating Milky Way because of gravitational force and Milky Way is rotating in universe because of gravitational force. So Krishna is universe gravitational force because of which our existence is there. PURUSH and PRUKRITY (पुरुष व प्रकृति) is its creation.

Panditji told me that meaning of word Arjun is whose shot never misses his target (अचूक निशानेबाज़). We all are Arjun whether we are living being or non living being. Coal wants to become diamond. Water wants to flow towards sea. Fire wants to go towards sky. Tree wants to grow. Fruit and flower wants to take best shape, smell or taste as per their basic qualities. Every animal, every human being has purpose and they want to explore their full potential.

After knowing the meaning of Krishna and Arjun, reading geeta became more meaningful. Krishna is supreme and we all are part of Krishna.

Jai Shri Krishna and Happy Janmasthami.

Sirji you are very true “Lord Krishna is universal gravitational force and that is why we are existing”. Very nice. Thanks for sharing…….
